Your reactions to things are based on experiences in your subconscious mind. Your subconscious actually feels your bad habit is good because it has stored the feeling of satisfaction you receive from the habit. Your subconscious is only able to refer to emotions you have already experienced, and it will automatically trigger you to feel these emotions when you see or think of a particular behavior.
